These
three following games I created with a program called Game-Editor.
Basically, I experimented as I went on in the game's creation -
I had no set plan. The feeling of creating a working game (at least
in a basic level) is actually pretty satisfying, and you learn a
good deal of programming on the way. The Game-Editor.com forums
and experimentation were the only sources I used to gain the knowledge
to make these games. Yes, these games may be simple compared to
commercial or even high level amateur games. However, I probably
haven't spent nearly as much time as these people do creating them.
Note: these files are executables- they run a program on the computer
itself. In general, executable files (.exe) have the potential to
damage your computer. These game files do not require administrative
privileges. I wouldn't do anything to damage computers, but you
can use your best judgment to decide if you want to download these
games or not.
Alternatively, you can download the source files, which require
Game-Editor to run. You can even modify my games, but I ask that
you acknowledge that I created them. An experienced programmer may
find many bugs in my game's code - please note I'm just an amateur
at programming!
Get
Game-Editor Here
(you will be directed to game-editor.com)
Once you have this program you can click on "Download Source
Files" on this page to edit or play the games. After unzipping
(extracting), open Game-Editor, navigate to the download location,
and open it. Presto! The game is loaded and ready to play or modify.
